The concept of JPM is to be a hub of fresh and creative music industry professionals, specialising in sound engineering, record production and performance. The company is headed up by Joe Murphy and Christopher Hewitt, both having studied at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts on the Sound Technology degree programme. At “Paul McCartney’s Fame School” they learned the many intricacies of record production as well as developing advanced and innovative studio techniques of their own. Both having a strong musical background, being classically trained, and playing to a professional standard on a wide variety of instruments helps them enormously in the studio, both are also keen writers and arrangers – working with a large client base.
