I have been teaching drums for five
years to pupils aged from 7 to 47. I
teach (and play) all styles of drumming,
from metal, to rock, Latin and jazz.
Each lesson is moulded around the
pupil to suit their learning style and
for what they want from the lessons,
whether this is working towards graded
examinations, improving technique or
performance.
I teach up to grade 8 and beyond both
Rockschool and Trinity and my pupils
have achieved a high level of success in
national exams, with several achieving
distinction in their grades.
Rates:
Drum tuition: £10 per half-hour
Studio work: 1 hour taster session £10
Otherwise: £16 per hour or £100 for
a day (7 hours).

2005 - present: Drum
tuition offered privately to pupils of
all ages and abilities. Pupils achieved
a high level of success in national
music examinations.
March 2010
Engineered and produced recordings of
the Liverpool based band ‘Paraffin Oil
Shop’. These tracks are now being used
to promote the band on National radio
stations and one is being used in an
episode of the TV production ‘Hollyoaks’.
January 2005 – 2010
Set up, managed and advertised my own
extensive, semi –professional recording
studio, based in Lady Bay.
July 2006 to August 2008
Voluntary work with PMF productions:
Nottingham Theatre Royal. General stage
management and sound engineering
assistance.
January 2005 - 2009
Live sound management in various small
to medium sized venues.
